課程概述 |
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the world of research/publication in business disciplines, including general management, marketing, production operation management, IT management, and IS management. Students will gain a deeper level of understanding about how to approach/select a research topic, as well as being introduced to a number of research design issues for their undertaken research topics. The overall aim is for students (1) to develop the background needed to undertake research that is significant, rigorous, and relevant to practice and the advancement of theoretical insights; and (2) to learn how to write up a theoretical-oriented manuscript depending upon the selected methods/design.
授課對象
Ph.D. students in their 2nd year or above who
1) having a specific research project/dissertation topic to write up for theoretical-oriented journal publication (before registering this class)
2) having both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies background
3) having a high expectation on “research outcomes” |
